Placing an order On-Line
To start shopping please click on the “On-Line Shop” link or “Enter Shop” Button
The next screen allows you to start shopping, If you want to see all the categories we offer please click on the “Product Overview” on the left hand side of the screen, To search for a specific item use the “Product Search” or “Quick Search” box. The quick search will show results for all items with the words you type while the product search will allow you to be much more specific.
When you have found the product you would like to purchase, scroll down to the button and enter the desired amount in the “Quantity” box and then click the “Order button”. The selected product will then be added to the “Shopping Cart”. If you need to browse the shop for other products to add to the order, the “Shopping Cart” will store the added item(s) until you need to make a purchase. Clicking on “Continue Shopping” allows you to browse for more items and will remember what is currently in your shopping basket.
Products can be added and deleted at any stage whilst you are in the “Shopping Cart”. If you would like to adjust the quantity of an item, change the number in the “Quantity” box and then click “Update”. The “Shopping Cart“ will then recalculate the order amount.
When you are ready to make a purchase, click the “Order Button” and then select your payment method from the drop down menu. Scroll to the bottom of the page and select “Next”.
Enter your billing and delivery details. Follow the on screen instructions carefully to ensure your order goes through successfully. If you are an existing customer at this point you can put in your Customer number and Password and the name and address details will be automatically filled in for you.
After you have filled in your name and address details, you will be presented with a “Next button” at the bottom of the screen where you can check that your order details are correct before proceeding to the Order and Payment stage. To proceed to the payment stage (if paying by credit/debit card) select “Order” at the end of the page.
Your browser will then re-direct you to the secure online payment system provided by Paypal. This is where you can securely enter your credit/debit card details and pay for your order online. Once payment is successful, you will be re-directed back to the Electrospares “Order Confirmation” page.
You will then receive an order confirmation email and payment confirmation email from Paypal. If you do not receive either of these emails, please contact us, quoting your name and order details.
If paying by cheque or postal order you will receive a confirmation email with details of where to send the cheque payment to.
Telephone Support
We realise that not every visitor to our website will be comfortable with placing an order on the Internet. Although we can assure you that our online credit card processing facility uses the very highest levels of encryption currently available.
To be able to offer you, the customer 256bit secure encryption and comply fully with the Data Protection Act, we cannot currently take credit card payments over the phone from customers. This was a decision we took so that we can make the claim we will not fall foul of risking losing your confidential data.
We are more than happy to assist in any help required if customers are having a challenge with placing an order on line and although the telephone line can be very busy if you leave us a message we will endeavour to contact you back within the hour. Alternatively email us requesting a call back.
